We're finding ourselves in and around Georgetown these days with all the basketball...good for getting some pictures of older, interesting places.

Saw these bikes for rent while we were downtown today...didn't know they had them here.  24 hours for $8.00!

  What I saw from the school campus today.

  Gong Xi Fa Chai - Happy Chinese New Year!  While we live in Malaysia, a predominantly Muslim country, our island has a rich Chinese heritage and these next few days will be full of celebrations, lion dances, drumming presentations, fireworks and lots of people who have come to be with their families for the holiday. 

  While waiting to have a meeting down in the clubhouse of our community I saw the beautiful reflections in the pool.  We do live in a lovely place!

The 'moving' night market sets up close to where we live each Tuesday night, offering all kinds of food, drinks, clothes, watches, wallets, shoes..... Meat on a stick, anyone?

 Life in Penang seems to center around the abundant and always available local food.  One of our favorites....sizzlin' chicken out in Batu Ferringhi.  Delicious!
